Richard Levy Gallery is pleased to exhibit a selection of large scale color photographs by Debra Bloomfield from the series Oceanscapes. Each image in the series was captured by the artist from the exact same location and perspective over the course of many years and builds on the theme of one vast horizon of ocean and sky.

Bloomfield is a distinguished guest faculty member at the San Francisco Art Institute and has taught at the University of California, Davis, the University of California, Berkeley, California State University at Hayward, and the California College of Arts and Crafts. Her works is included in several prestigious collections including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Boston Fine Arts Museum, and the Contemporary Museum of Art, Honolulu.
