Gallery Program
Richard Levy Gallery fosters a mission to support contemporary artists by providing exposure for artists in the international marketplace both in the gallery and online. The gallery presents six–ten gallery exhibitions per year, produces periodic satellite projects, and participates in select art fairs. Richard Levy Gallery was established in 1991.
Richard Levy Gallery has participated in key partnerships for community enrichment, including Land Art New Mexico, the International Symposium for Electronic Art, and On the Map: Unfolding Albuquerque Art and Design—a six-month city-wide collaborative effort to bring visibility to the arts in the middle Rio Grande Valley. On the Map: Unfolding Albuquerque Art and Design brought together over thirty partners, including the Albuquerque Visitors Bureau, the City of Albuquerque Public Arts Program, the Albuquerque Museum, and 516 Arts Museum. The gallery organizes benefits periodically to support organizations such as Albuquerque Mutual Aid, Planned Parenthood, the Audubon Society, Women’s Cancer Research, and Roadrunner Food Bank.
As a publisher, Richard Levy Gallery has collaborated with artists Thomas Barrow, James Casebere, Stanley Greenberg, David Levinthal, Wes Mills, Robert ParkeHarrison, Dean Bienvenido Ramos, Lorna Simpson, Lisa Solomon, Richard Tuttle, and Tom Waldron and more to produce fine art limited edition prints and multiples. These publications can be found in museums and private collections worldwide.
