Richard Levy Gallery is pleased to present American Town Series, a selection of photographs by Gabi Brandt. This ongoing series of chromogenic prints are portraits of women in odd everyday situations and locations. While they are neither a snap shot nor a perfectly staged photograph, each piece has characteristics of both. The images have a dreamlike quality. The artist, who was born in Argentina and currently lives and teaches in Las Vegas, Nevada. This series made their debut at the San Francisco International Art Exposition where they were presented by Richard levy Gallery.
