Wain Wayne

A framed collage artwork consisting of segmented, diverse images, including historic battles, leisure scenes at a beach, and nature, all set against an abstract background by Wayne.

Collage featuring a diverse group of people and fictional characters in a large, modern lecture hall, overlayed with text "WAIN WAYNE" at the top.

A surreal collage features a young girl in a white dress holding a doll, a bearded man in a football jersey with the name "Wayne" on it, and a woman in a white costume riding a black horse. The background blends domestic and fantastical scenes, with a decorated Christmas tree and musicians.

Richard Levy Gallery is pleased to present a selection of new collages by Albuquerque artist Wain Wayne in the Project Room. The stuff of everyday, as filtered through magazines, on billboards, and in the movies is recast in new terms, critical and humorous. They reference the gamut from sports, cartoons, to current politics and say a little bit, perhaps, about all of us.
